ha ha yes they are that old.... I bought my first Neptune before they even hit the stores at that time they were 999.99 bucks and you had to put half down and wait two months but it came id I loved it. so the first orig one lasted about 12 years the totally fell apart so I junked that one bought a used one fixed the board and put a belt and door seal on it and its still runnin today. in fact I like it so much for a daily driver I got my partner a used one too did the same work to that one and it was runnin just fine till about a month ago when it started the intermittent no spin thing too am sure its in the control board so im off to find a good board don't want to scrap the machine its a work horse especially the way he does laundry ha ha. glad to hear that k1rod is in the same boat as I am makes me feel not so alone ha ha..
