Does anyone have a spare agitator cap for a 1980s GE filter flo, and possibly a mini basket they would be willing to sell me? I would be so grateful.. Just picked this washer up and it needs some TLC but overall I think it will make a decent daily. Model # is WWA8808MALWH

The agitator cap for your machine is GE part number WH43X89. There are several on EBay at the moment. The mini basket is GE part number WH45X124 and there is one on EBay at the moment. Congrats on your GE washer find. They are a lot of fun.

Thanks!

Thanks for the part numbers!! I tried looking on Ebay last night but didnt have any luck. I just ordered them with the part numbers you gave me. Do you happen to know the part number for the clutch assembly, 2 speed I believe?

The 2 speed clutch assembly is GE part number WH49X265. The whole motor assembly with 2 speed clutch is GE part number WH49X271.

Hi John(Coldspot66). For anyone interested I’ve bought parts from Coldspot66 without a problem.

Coldspot

I would definitely be interested in a new clutch as the spin speed on this machine is pretty weak! Would you be willing to sell one to me?

Phmorrow,

are you sure the belt is tight enough and not stretched?

John (coldspot66)

Weak speed...

Many times these metal components and belts would have oil and grease slung on them. With my 76’ Dispensall this was definitely the case. I took Carb cleaner and wiped everything down and replaced with a new belt. Agitation and spin was quite brisk after that.
