KitchenAid Dishwasher drying fan not working |

Just buzzes during the dry cycle. What should I do?! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks !

Hey Matthew, nice to see you posting! I had that exact same problem on my KD-12 years ago when I first got it. The bearing in the fan is probably dry. What I did was to remove the heater/fan assembly and oil the fan bearing. Then I got the fan blades turning by manually turning the fan back and forth until it was loose and free. Then I hooked the fan up to a power cord on my work bench (leaving the heater out of the circuit) and let it run for a while. It worked and it's been running perfectly for over a decade after doing that.
