The absolute BOL dryer that matched BOL timed-fill washer.

Here's a close match, in Iowa.

Dryer is older than the washer.

Check Ebay

Same dryer is listed for $45.00.

The "matching" washer shown above would have come with black or dark gray temperature buttons. I think they were replaced at some point with a newer white set, say from the 06 series.

The dryer in question is a model 66B, one the first HOH dryers made, made between 1957 and 1961. The identical match for the washers was the original helical drive Highlander, model 123. However, the original match for the 123 in ‘56 would have been the early style air flow dryer - model 65C.

When the 124 was introduced in ‘58 I don’t believe Maytag made an exact panel match to the dryer (or possibly the 66CB, per the parts books was ment to be a closer match).

The 124 mentioned above was picked up by one of our own. The white buttons are original to the 124 and were revised to black later on in the build. Mostly likely when converted to the A200 in ‘61.

Any version of the 123/124 washer or the 65/66/76 versions of the dryers are very hard to find these days.
