A friend recently purchased a stacked Speed Queen front load washer & dryer. While it needed some cleaning, it works well, or seems to anyway. After running a cycle, once it’s complete, the “door“ light and the ”wash” light flash slowly and the washer will not start again until it’s been unplugged, then plug back in.

One other thing, it doesn’t seem to drain very fast, but it does drain completely. One thing I noticed last night as it’s draining before spin, the tub rpm starts increasing while it’s still draining. I could hear there was still some water in the tub, but it was gone 2-3 seconds later.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Gas SQ Stack

Hi Kevin, The flashing lights are a fault code that you can look up or call SQ about, I am not at work and don't have easy access at the moment, differently try cleaning the pump protector as there might be something there impeding the draining.

Balance and Drain

The distribution balancing while the machine is draining is normal operation.

Wash Light and Lock light might be an issue with the door interlock.
