My late neighbor Thelma had a washer like this, and the matching dryer, both in the Toast color. These replaced the GE Versatronic set. |

My sister had this model in her guest house. I'm not sure of the year, but it had the center dial, and neutral drain method of emptying out the water. |

Have seen a couple of early DD 24" washers for sale recently, they always intrigued me. I worked at Sears when they were brought out. Some of the sales guys in white goods were skeptical, having spent most of the careers selling the belt drive. |
