This dishwasher came with the house we bought in 1986, and has seen regular use up until 3 weeks ago, when my son, who lives there now, decided that he couldn't live with the cosmetic damage anymore and bought a pre-owned "pretty", "newer" different brand, and pulled this one out. I told him he was making a mistake and that the panels could be sanded and repainted......But in any case, it was working when it was pulled. There is one dent, and the back panel has the top corners cut, apparently done by the home's original owners so they could get it to fit in that space... I know it is worth the parts alone, but I would like to see it go where it will be used again & appreciated. The last photo was taken before it was pulled from the kitchen. Damage to panels was caused by toddlers on tricycles and other toys of mass destruction over the years. Located about 1 1/2 hr. west of St. Louis, MO. Must pick up. $125 or best offer. That's a KDS-18. The 58 was the portable model. And I agree with Eddie, poor thing.

It's definitely a KDS-58 - tag shows '58' and he has a picture of the outer cabinet to turn it back into a portable.

While these are amazing dishwashers, this one looks like it has served your family well and might be best used either as a parts machine or letting it go to rest.
