And gotta love the cabinet-mounted can opener! My poor Mom couldn’t survive without a can opener — we had an electric one and I remember when it stopped working, my Mom didn’t know what to do! We never owned a manual can opener, and since my Mom hated (and still hates) to cook, it was an absolute disaster not being able to open a can unless there were some delicious frozen Swanson TV dinners handy...
