After a second time that the Fisher Paykel drawers need servicing in 1 year and half, I decided not to get them fixed.

And I got this new Maytag dishwasher to replace them. So far, I’ve done three loads and everything is sparkling clean. Using the Auto cycle, with air dry. Very easy to load, holds a lot of dishes, tall glasses, huge flatware basket (basket not in picture, forgot to put it back as I was unloading this morning). I leave the upper rack in the lower position, and everything fits, in lower and upper rack. Very quiet machine. No filter to clean. So far, I love it.

( I don’t miss the Fisher Paykel dishdrawers at all. Worst dishwasher I ever used. Worst loading configuration. I should have gotten rid of them last year)

New Maytag DW

Very good choice Steve and MUCH better built, roomier and easier to service than a Bosch DW as well.

F&P DWs were always and interesting machine but they are much too fussy and fragile for most households, I couldn't guess how many F&Ps we have removed and scraped over the last 15+ years.

Really nice!

I've never had one but cannot warm up to the idea of a DW manual filter.  I would always be taking it out and checking it.

Thank you.

I’ll post some more pictures when it’s full.

Here’s some pictures of the load I did today. I love the lights on the dishwasher. The top ones are white, they indicate the cycle and options selected, and what part of the wash the machine is at. The front light on the door is blue while washing, red when drying and white once the machine is done.

maytag that I bought summer 2014. The lower wash arm looks totally different than mine. I wonder what changes these Maytag's have undergone since mine. I absolutely love mine. Best dishwasher I've ever had. Knock on wood.

Both wash arms are made of stainless steel. They both wash at the same time from the videos I’ve seen on YouTube. They don’t alternate like other brands.
