I was informed by a friend today that this beautiful old Hobart AM-9-T2 dishwasher had failed and was taken out of service. This was due to no parts available to fix it. I had wanted to keep the machine as a collector piece and or send it to the Appliance Museum in Beltsville but it has been recycled. This dish machine served the local VFW for 51 years as their daily driver. I used it hundreds of times and it was in use on my wedding day at said VFW. I have not seen the replacement dishwasher but have heard it is a low temp POS.
Here is the link to a video of a dish machine many of us have come to know. WK78 CLICK HERE TO GO TO whirlykenmore78's LINK |
