I had the spring come undone on the pulley for the retractable cord and have no idea how to wind it back around. Anyone have a pic or a service manual for the '59 mobile maid?

IIRC information you are seeking is in the site library.

This is likely to fall into the "repair" category as opposed to operation.  There may be a repair manual in the same library.

Unfortunately the only mobile maid dishwasher service manual is from 1957 and it didn't have the retractable cord that year.
I've been looking on ebay for a service manual but no luck yet.

Bradley, I believe I have a cord reel from a '59 Mobile Maid like yours somewhere in my parts hoard. I will try to find it and take some pictures for you on the weekend, if this may help.

Later model..

This is my DW, a later model Mobile Maid, model SM300D3. The cord reel is different, but it may give a clue of how the spring attaches on yours. Can't quite see all of the reel in your pic.

You can see the spring attaches to a cable that winds up on the right side of the reel. The other end of the spring just hooks on to the body of the DW.

Hope this helps, Bill
