I recall supper at family friends who had a slightly lower model, light over the buttons was a thrill to see, LOL.

That is same as my old Lady K. Cleaned everything perfect. 12 or 20 minute heat dry only. 24 minutes on a timer, hit cancel/drain button and timer rewound, open door, spin roto rack and about 10 minutes dishes were dry and cooled down enough to be put away. 2 screws holding the inside door wore thru the bottom and I had to trash it unfortunately. Wished I had it back. Maple top was nice and those indicator lights let you know just what it was doing. That model is in Robert's rotation of the POD.

Looks like the dishwasher comes with a bonus box of Muriel "why don't you pick one up and smoke it sometime" cigars.

That GE Combo was my dream fridge—now, I am the proud owner of a turquoise GE wall fridge and a white Americana. The beautiful white combo looks quite homely by comparison.

My Aunt Louise and Uncle Harold had a GE refrigerator just like the one in the original post. They always had a half gallon of ice cream on hand because that freezer kept it frozen hard and there was plenty of room, unlike the single door fridges with the freezer compartments that everyone else had in the early to mid 50’s.
