Seen a few versions of that trick.

Never had an incident of that during normal operation on any of the DDs I've used.

That’s very entertaining and two big thumbs-up to the Kenmore for keeping such a steady beat. Unfortunately, I could never allow that cabinet-banging out-of-balance situation to last more than about 5 seconds before I’d have to reach for the cycle dial. I’d probably get through the first line, “On the road again” and that would be it, LOL.

For some washers---all they are good for is musical instruments!

Sometimes my "Maytag" Centennial washer sounds like a metronome! The clicking of its agitator dogs. This machine is a good example of a washer being a musical instrument rather than a washer.

" I’d have to reach for the cycle dial. "

Oh Absolutely. I truly believe that most of us here go into panic alert when we hear off balance issues.

But I think this is somewhat "innocent" compared to the nitwits that start up a front loader, wait for it to hit max RPM then throw a cinder block into it and laugh while it tears itself apart..

That's hilarious!

You know, most malfunctions make a machine stop doing its primary function. In this case it changed from one type of appliance (laundry) to another (musical rhythm machine).  Paint it black, stencil "Yamaha" across the controls; and sell it for 10 grand to the vintage musical instrument guys!!!

That's only sort of funny:

I realise that this machine will likely not be hurt by this as it is a DD WP and extremely durable. However no washer should be abused in this way.

I've been thinking about recording all the weird sounds the MRI machines make at work and turn them into some kind of rap song.

I noted that this isn't the only video with this washer as an instrument. There are several videos on that channel.

One video even outlines a modification that allows the beat to changed song to song:

"Ladies&Gentlemen& Kids" we have a replacement for a metronome!!No need to buy a metronome when you can use your DD washer-But DON'T try to put this on top of your piano!
