Does anyone have any info on these. Possible age and features?

Worked with a set similar. 1988-91 ?

Next up from Total BOL. Or maybe one more up.

They did offer many models. You could just about pay $20.00 more for those two extra cycles. Those were the days.

Standars Capacity?

Would that be a standard capacity super roto-swirl machine?

Malcolm, I believe you are correct in your conjecture.  I had friends who got married in like 1974 or so and this was their first washer and dryer set

Standard capacity, straight vane agitator. BOL was 1 cycle 1 speed temp in timer and full fill. As those went up the line, some had separate level and temp and even a lint filter with 2 speeds. You can add up and get the much better one. Not the BOL in their newspaper ads for $199. Sears was sooo good at bait and switch because that BOL model was always out of stock already and would take you ages to be delivered.

Ditto for me.  A good friend got married in the summer of 1975 and he and his wife bought a mobile home that came with this pair.

I had this set and it has 2 speed washer and temp selector switch and 3 water levels and super roto swirl with two speed and 4 cycles it was a work horse and great machine I used for years and never had an issue till the timer went bad on washer. they look plain but are laundry work horses.

Great find!

These are 1973/1974 Model 600s, so they are middle of the line. My aunt had this washer alongside of a 1975 All American model. Standard tub, gold straight vane agitator with the small screw cap, metal tub ring, self cleaning lint filter. Also had a removable fabric softener dispenser that fit over the agitator top. Three cycles - may also have had a pre-wash, but not sure. Water levels and temps were also three in number. I'm not sure of how many cycles the dryer featured above has. Again, my aunt did not have the dryer match to the washer.

We had this set when I was a kid...it was the first electric clothes dryer we ever owned.  Our garage had to be wired for 220 when we got it.  I also remember being fascinated with the fabric softener dispenser!  LOL!  The washer replaced a Frigidaire that my parents bought around 1963 or 1964.

Are these 2 speed and speed determined by cycle?

Floyde, the answer to both questions is yes.
