Hmm.... The range could be a Magic Chef, too, to match the dishwasher!

Magic Chef or Gaffers & Sattler.  1978-1984.

Paul and Bob got it right, Eddie got the D&M DW right,

In any case both appliances are total POS, but still neat to see what people once had in their kitchens, makes some of the crap today not look so bad, LOL

Depends on when

Tappan bough Gaffers & Sattler. Possible made by Roper? The oven/drawer handles look like both M.C. and Tappan of the era. However, Tappan slide in electric ranges then had a thicker to front edge than the photo depicts. That looks more like Magic Chef. Tappan's also had front mounted knobs by 1968, and a higher price point than M.C., and I always felt, a bit better quality, though neither were high end, like Thermador.
By 1980 or so, a GE slide in electric, and a Roper were identical. Tappan's final electric free standing ranges in fact were also branded GE.

Well turns out they are 1980

They are both in working condition in a property we are looking at in Lake Arrowhead. So pretty good for POS!

D&M dishwasher. Very useful as scrap metal or if you want to fill a dumpster. Also if you want a flood, fire or catastrophic failure at Thanksgiving dinner in your kitchen.
