Didn't

Whirlpool have a joint venture with F&P from the time the first Cabrio's with the hall sensor direct drive rotor/stator motors came out till they were discontinued?

All That Plastic especially the dryer is just too great a fire risk for me, saw a pair on the scrap heap last week that looked new, left them there.

Thanks but not in my house, besides they always just looked cheap.

Is that a top load dryer? Picked up a F&P set years ago, that had that feature.

top load dryer

@goatfarmer, sure is and with the automatic reverse tumble it does a great job preventing tangling and roping of sheets and jeans. Also has automatic lint screen scraper and collection bucket needing dumping only every 20 loads or so. I have a slightly older model matching to GWL11 washer, no repair issues so far.

I have three.  A first-generation SmartLoad in use since 2004 (mother using since year ago), a 2010 AeroSmart model (using myself) that I refurbed and changed to a TOL same as the was-for-sale unit shown above, and another last-generation SmartLoad for spare.

All of the topload dryers are the same mechanically, except of course for gas or electric.  The control panel can be swapped-out to change any one to a different model ... SmartLoad, Intuitive, or choice of AeroSmarts.

I didn't notice previously ... the washer of the sale is NOT fully tricked-out.  It doesn't have a bleach dispenser, which would be on the right/front corner of the top deck.  The two dispensers on the left are detergent and softener.
