My mother's whirlpool vmw lid lock with shift acuator washing machine balance spring rods gone through can this be repaired or it will be better to get a new one? | ||

How old is the machine? If it is ten years ld, save the cash and invest in a new one. Before long, the electronics will be shot. Have the bearings been replaced yet, gearcase? Also wear out items. | ||
