That GE is a 1962 2-speed model.  WA-750W. Closer look at the console.

That’s the same model Frigidaire washer I grew up with. I’ve been looking for one for years, but I’m not going to create a facebook account to get it. The fact that it’s so far away doesn’t help either.🙁

Damn.... I've got the dryer that would match the GE Washer and I know a certain party up here in La Belle Province who would consider murder to get that '62 Frigidaire to match a dryer too.

Wow! Wonder what the story is? Both the GE and Frigidaire are stunning!

The Frigidaire is a WIA-61. The "Imperial" badge and chrome control knobs are the giveaway. By '62 the badge was gone and the control knobs were plastic.

I have one ....

in the suds saver model. Absolutely love the control panel design. After making a brand new pulsator, rings and cap, it almost looks factory new.

I’d really like to get my hands on that washer.

Is there anyone with a facebook account that would be willing to contact the seller for me to see what he or she wants for it? As I said earlier, it’s the same model I grew up with and I’ve been looking for one for a long time.

'62 Frigidaire

D-Jones,

I you decide not to get the Frigidaire, please let me know (and forward the contact info). I love the look of that one. Also, remember that model from my mom's best friend's house. I currently have a '63 Filtrator Dryer. Not an exact match, but...

Thanks.

I sent him a message yesterday, and it shows that he has seen it, but he has not responded as of yet.
