Just a quick preview of the latest addition to my family! I plan to make these my new daily drivers and they will be bestowed the honor of moving into the laundry room in the house instead of out in the poolhouse garage with the others. My current daily drivers (‘85 Lady Kenmore w&d) need a rest for a while, anyway.

I met the nicest and most amazing guy over the weekend who is moving and needs to purge machines, parts, and manuals. I took all I could and will be going back next weekend to pick up a ‘59 pink Maytag set and possibly a KitchenAid-made-by-Hobart dishwasher.

More pics to come — and I’m smelling a NorCal wash-in here coming in 2020..?!

Cheers!

Those look to be in great shape! And what a load of parts! Congrats!

What are those two books/manuals on the right side of your picture? (The brown one, and the red hardcover?)

Hi LowEfficiency,

The two manuals you are asking about — one is a Frigidaire roller-matic repair manual (1973), the other is Whirlpool (1975).

Those look awesome !

Short of the all-button Maytags, this is IT!  And you have a matched set to boot.

With the way you're going you'll happen upon an all-button set in the very near future.

I'm lovin' the lighted panel, the bleach dispenser, and all the options available on these.  The first email was probably typed with all those buttons.
