For those wondering these late model MW wringers likely were sourced from Speed Queen/McGraw Edison.... They look exactly like wringer washers sold under SQ or Amana names, and we know the latter is tied to former....

Besides Maytag only SQ was still making wringer washers in 1970's IIRC. Major players otherwise had left the market.

That definitely looks like an older Speed Queen agitator.

you know the age by the plastic cover, and agitator...and porcelain tub....

in the 50/60's it would have been a stainless tub and metal agitator and lid

still nice just the same.....


I would like to see the whale fin agitator out of a solid tub in one of these...

Cool, The strips on the wringer rollers are just a protective paper covering that has to be removed before use.
