I'm selling a vintage Maytag washer that works great except for a small leak from a rubber bushing on the tub. In the 40 years I've had it, the only repair has been a new timer motor. I would like to find a new home for it and hope someone in the forum will take it in. The washer is in Los Angeles.

Looking for a Maytag A207 washer, timer motor

Hi, where did you find the timer motor?

My Maytag washer is the same model, needing a Kingston Model 60 motor, with 11 teeth on the gear. (the gear is fine, no power in the motor)

Thoughts?

Thanks

207 Timer Motor

We'll need the timer part#. There's 5 different timers for this model (more including suds saving models) but it's probably going to be a 204454 timer with a 204663 timer motor.

I've taken a photo of what might be the timer number?

Is this legible enough? (yes, backwards)

I can't move the washer, please let me know where I might find any other number you need if this is not sufficient info.

Just as I suspected, it's a 204454 timer. This is the timer motor you need.
