Take a look at this kitchen that is in a house for sale in Flint, Michigan. Many more pictures in the link, I've only attached photos of kitchen in this post.

I couldn't find a link to more photos, here's a link to the realtor.com listing.  Says it was built in 1948.  I just love the VCT floor throughout the living areas!

Two kitchen sinks for twice the poison water...I guess the dishwasher and Laundromat wash with poison water too.

If you live in Flint, does the house come with its own water treatment purifier? You would need it there!!!GREAT kitchen--BETTER than the DRAB,SS ones you see today that look like morgue embalming rooms or hospital lab rooms-even those look better!

That is a great looking Kitchen.

We had the same fridge in a summer home. All Porcelain. And COLD. Loved the sound of the latches opening and closing.

When you could buy quality and quality was built. And people actually cared about what they built and sold.

Probably commissioned by a physician at the hospital. Unfortunately it is deep in the city of Flint--RO systems for all potable water are de rigueur. We have lots of those types of homes in SE MI coming from the modernism which came from Cranbrook and the car companies. Alden Dow (Dow Chemical family) was the designer/architect.
