I currently have a GE Potscrubber 840 in my kitchen that I have just ordered new white front panels for. I found this NOS KDS-19. Should I get this dishwasher instead? Does it offer superior performance? Seemed like a decent bargain for $100 including the two scrapes.

That is a great cleaning machine. Drying is a little weak, but I had one Brand New in 1981 and loved it.

Heats water on the first Wash and last Rinse.

Wow ! It's my favorite one and I always use flash dry. Is it still available ? I'm not on fb.

Looks like it's still available if you're interested. I would hate to see it go to someone who is not going to appreciate it.

Kds-19

I have contacted the seller. It was installed in a house and still had the packing inside.

Is the 840 a one arm wonder? If so, get the KDS-19.

That's a sweet tol KDS-19 Superba.   Hate to have it go to waste.  Those two scrapes in the access panel are easy to repair/replace.

That's how I found my KUDI23...it was installed in a house but had never been run...still had the tag hanging inside with the foam packing blocks and instruction manual.

in regular use by previous owner since 1982. When I got it 3 years ago, I spent 10 on a water inlet valve and $65 on newer racks, then recently just $7 and an hour labor on the drain pump impeller. At 37 years old, IT WASHES EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hit the NORMAL WASH button about 9 times out of ten, then once in a while the Soak-Scrub button for the ugliest burnt on crapola. REPEAT: IT WASHES EVERYTHING.
