If made between 1986 & 2006, it likely is a Maytag product. Between 2006 & 2010 Whirlpool owned the brand. It has since been sold off, and is now known as MC Appliance, an importer. | ||

That is a real MC range and while the MC name was sold off WP is still making their Slide-In ranges in the MC factory and they are not all that great.
This includes the slide-in KA, Jean-Air, and WP brands, I would get A GE Slide-In over the WP SI brands, WPs free standing models are better as they are made in Tulsa Oklahoma

Oven Cleaning Systems Hi Robert, Yes WP still makes aqua-clean ovens and I think most other major makers make it also. I can't possibly see how it is worse than a regular Manuel clean oven as you can always clean an aqua-clean oven with oven cleaner in fact using the aqua-clean function after applying a little oven cleaner to really dirty areas makes wiping out and rinsing the oven easier.
Yes I prefer a true hi-temp SC system, 2nd to that will take a catalyst continuous cleaning oven, after that give me a pull-N-clean oven liner that I can take out in the back yard with a can of Easy-Off and the garden hose.
