If made between 1986 & 2006, it likely is a Maytag product. Between 2006 & 2010 Whirlpool owned the brand. It has since been sold off, and is now known as MC Appliance, an importer.

Looks late 80s, and probably close to TOL for a MC, due to the electronic oven controls. Very BOL versions of this with pilot lights, no clock, no oven light or window in almond were common in mobile homes during the early to late 80s. Typically had the words "The Energy Engineered Range" on them.

It looks like too much paint & plastic for a durable gas range.

That is a real MC range

and while the MC name was sold off WP is still making their Slide-In ranges in the MC factory and they are not all that great.

This includes the slide-in KA, Jean-Air, and WP brands, I would get A GE Slide-In over the WP SI brands, WPs free standing models are better as they are made in Tulsa Oklahoma

We had the same range for years. No problems.

Combo, does Whirlpool make the ranges with that awful Aqua Scam so-called oven cleaning that's worse than a manual clean oven in that plant? I can't believe they even still make it.

Oven Cleaning Systems

Hi Robert, Yes WP still makes aqua-clean ovens and I think most other major makers make it also. I can't possibly see how it is worse than a regular Manuel clean oven as you can always clean an aqua-clean oven with oven cleaner in fact using the aqua-clean function after applying a little oven cleaner to really dirty areas makes wiping out and rinsing the oven easier.

Yes I prefer a true hi-temp SC system, 2nd to that will take a catalyst continuous cleaning oven, after that give me a pull-N-clean oven liner that I can take out in the back yard with a can of Easy-Off and the garden hose.
