Dishes are not drying, thought it was a rinse aid issue. When it was in drying cycle, I heard a humming sound. Is fan motor shot???

Is it hot inside during the dry cycle?  If not, the heating element is the likely culprit.  That's not to say the element is bad, but there may be a fried connector somewhere.

The fan does make a sort of humming sound, but it's not the same as if the fan motor was failing to turn.

It is far more likely that the fan motor is stuck or the bearings worn out than a bad heater on this DW.

Check it out there are lots of parts around for this DW.
