I got you by 10 years, Bob. My 1984 LA511 washer and DE410 dryer are still going strong with one $28 repair in all that time, thanks to the good people on AW. Best purchase I ever made. I want to keep them as long as I can. I could have bought a pair at Sears for half of what I paid for my Maytags back then, but these REAL Maytags are bullet proof and have never regretted buying them.
