Check rated that post with the Airplane! clip.  One of my all-time favorite movies.

I'm not an Amana Radarrange microwave expert and it just seems like the microwave in that clip is a Panasonic.

Back in the 70s microwaves were all the rage and the Amana Radarrange was top of the line then.

The MWO in the movie Airplane is a Whirlpool built and branded MWO, just one more thing that made that movie so fun was that they did not try for any level of correctness, it would have been very easy for them to actually find an Amana Radar-Range MWO if they wanted, LOL

Over, Oveur.

Sometimes you saw the jokes and gags coming but they were still great.

The timely Howard Jarvis bookends were definitely intended as an inside California joke.

I saw this when it first came out, as a kid, and remember seeing him pull the plug and the entire air strip night lighting went out and thinking 'no, you can't run all those lights on an extension cord.' LOL
