Nice KDS20 Control Panel.  For some reason I thought that not long ago someone was looking for a better one.  This one looks pretty good.

KDS 18

This is indeed fine looking.
I wonder if you are remembering my request for a KDS18 panel?

I picked it up never used a few years ago, and made the mistake of storing it in a shed for some time. Now that I've installed it, the machine seems perfect except for badly pitted chrome. I'm still looking for a panel for it.
If anyone knows of a lead, I'd be very grateful.

I do have another question for the KA experts. There's a brief pause during the final rinse on the Normal cycle, when it sounds like it's heating water for a minute or 2. Should it do this, even when the sanicycle option has not been selected?

Thanks

I have a lot of searches running on eBay for various KitchenAid Dishwasher parts.  If I see one of these I'll let you know.  I don't have an 18 so can't say for sure but I'm pretty sure the 20 does this.

KDS-18 Question

Hi Tom, Yes the pause in the last rinse is normal, the DW kicks into the heating mode for about one minute but does not stay there unless you select the Sani option.

I probably have a good control panel for your DW, I will try to remember to look, however I am very busy, remind me next year if you still need it early next year.
