Was this color ever a factory offering?  Or is this just a repaint?

Oh wow.  That's a unique colour alright.  In that light, it kinda looks like Whirlpool Sapphire Blue... I don't know if Frigidaire offered something similar.

I've never seen any Frigidaire appliance in this color. However, PaintRef.com lists several shades of blue. On the '64 chart, color code 400 is called "Blue", and it is a lighter shade. On the '72 chart, there are color code 480, again called "Blue", but no sample shown, and there is color code 709, which is "Biscayne Blue", no sample, but I've seen it in the '66 ads, and it is a darker shade.

If this range is in an original color, it must have been available only a short time. I wonder if it possibly was a test marketed color that didn't make it to the regular selection.

Could have been a test-market color.  Tucked away around here somewhere, I have a magazine (BH&G?) photo spread on laundry rooms and one featured was the wife of a Frigidaire manager.  She had a TOL '69 solid tub vari-speed washer and dryer in yet to be released poppy red.

This range is like 69-70, FD did several neat colors around this time on some models, a bright red and honey-beige was also sold.

I can visualize my grandma’s old Kelvinator electric range and refrigerator in that blue and maybe even Fawn, among the white, copper and the avocado she had those in...

Dave, Kelvinator had a shade of blue in the mid 50's that was named "Lagoon Blue". Then in the mid-late 60's the had "Edged Sapphire"/"Shaded Slate", and also "Edged Fawn"/"Shaded Doeskin". They were a supplier of certain models of ranges (electric, mainly 40") to Sears, so matched their colors.
