Picked this up in Chicago today after seeing it in Shopper's Square for $50. Works like it should and is very quiet. It creates a nice whirlpool. It drains, fills and agitates twice for rinses with no spin until the end. The tub brake is LOUD! Just like a Norge. It's a little dirty but is cleaning up well.

nice find!I'm guessing it is from around 1975-76 by the styling, but would have to poke around the machine for dated camponents for a more exact date-Sanyo used "Showa"calendar dates on parts back when that washer was made.Looks very similar to Hitachi GE washers of similar era. |
