Exactly like the one I have! But mine is from 1973 and the dryer is gas and was converted to a DG306. Yes, I have posted this in a previous thread but here’s my Maytag A606 and DG306 installed in my laundry room Incase if anyone missed it

The Maytag dryer that is with my A606 was a KDG606/DG606 but since the electronic dry control wasn’t working and I didn’t know how to fix it so I just put a Maytag DG306 timer in and took the electronic dry control out and I still have everything to the electronic dry control.
Most Maytag A606’s were paired up with a DG/DE606 but there are some that are paired up with the DG/DE407 auto dry dryers and some may have even been paired up with a DG/DE306 and there are threads in the archives that do show Maytag A606’s paired up with a DG/DE407 dryers |

That's some attention to detail. It was good of you to keep the parts in case you should happen upon replacement parts to put it back together.
Years ago when I fixed machines, a couple of times I merged machines like this and when the model no.s were different I would use a black magic marker and write on the back of the machine what was done and what the other model no. was so if parts were needed there would be something to reference.
As far as pairing machines, they don't have to be strictly matched as tol, mol, and bol. In practical terms it depends on what a person's needs are. But I have to admit, I know that jarring feeling seeing a picture or seeing someones washer dryer in person and it's mismatched.
For me, especially if it's a nice mol or tol dryer paired with a bol washer. It just seems so wrong.
