This is unique! I remember when Coors was never sold east of the Rockies.

As if any socially responsible person would let anything with the name COORS on it in his/her/their home.

There are ways to cover up a brand to possibly cover the social responsible issues. AAA aside, I remember enjoying a beer on a hot day. In 1970, I was lucky to visit California and discover Coors before its taste was compromised after exporting it East of the Rockies, years later.

Anyway - I like this unit, if one has a place for it. It's 1950's car curvy cool. :-)

mini beer ref

This ref is a therm o-electric cooling system, these are about useless at getting beer really cold and use a lot of power trying.

A colleague had a therm-o-electric cooler here for her insulin before it stopped cooling.

Useless junk.

This is not vintage. It's also (as said previously) a thermoelectric device. These have, for years, proven not a good choice for refrigerator usage.  Unless they have made some huge breakthrough in these devices lately - this will probably not cool to below 40°F which is not the desired serving temperature for beer intended to be served cold.

If anyone is looking for a very small fridge; most of them are thermoelectric. You need to look closely at the packaging to tell. One way to know for sure it is a real compressor system is if they advertise the unit as having freezer capability. If it can reach freezer temps it will surely have a compressor type system.

Look for a real compressor cooling system advertised as part of the unit. Dometic is one of the brands who have both TE and vapor compression systems. There may be others.

This is especially important if you are on a limited power system such as battery or solar. Compressor systems are far, far more efficient than thermoelectric.
