Even has the original bagged samples of Cascade and Jet-Dry. This machine would make a nice conversation piece in someone's dw collection.

WOW.

Why did they choose the "Nicotine Yellow" color for their Dish Racks ?

Eddie that rack color was used for a number of years including my brand new 1980 Kenmore dishwasher that came with my first house. Steve 118 had the same dishwasher brand new. And turquoise dude had the model down from this for a while in his collection.

Hi Bob.

I knew they used that color for awhile. it was a general "Oy, what a choice of colors".

I Loved some of Kenmore's Console designs with all those buttons and lights.

Too bad they never perfected (D+M) the Filter, Wash System, and just made a better built machine.

This was TOL model for about 1983-1984. I'm not sure if it was electronic or self advancing mechanical timer.

They were still keeping alive the woodgrain look and this would be the end of the line on that.

The yellow racks and seal as was stated, had been a feature for about 12 years up to this point.

Sometime in the mid-late 80s it was switched to white seal and green or grey racks. blahhh.

Here's a part of a brochure for 1973 models with the yellow.

I purposely did not mention that are 19 73/74 Road Iraq did have those yellow racks. I felt that would send him over the edge.

Somewhere in cape-cod the paramedics have, or will soon be dispatched.

oh-well.  LOL

I replaced several of these door seals in the 80s and they were a different material compared to the gray or green ones they had in the 60s and early 70s.  More pliable.  Not sure what year they switched over.

There has been one of these non-roto dishwashers on CL here for a month or so.  Looks nice.

The gold racks can be pretty if loaded correctly.

More commonly, there'd be a set of Corelle in harvest gold floral band (or avocado daisy-chain) or that gold and brown Pfaltzgraff stoneware in this vintage machine.

That's art on wheels in that portable dishwasher.

That looks like a early 70s tol or mol, with a real butcher block top.

Those orange pots in the bottom rack are the exact same orange pots & pan my mom had when I was little!
I bought me a set of these, some used (aluminum inside) and some new (black Teflon inside [like my mom's]).
:o)

Don't worry about sending me over the edge or Cape Cod Paramedics.

I have been over the edge for years. WTF ?
