A very emotional thread.

I went to the libaray today to look at the various vids here and amzingly i put some earphones in just by chance and THE SOUND CAME THROUGH YAYYYYY!!!!!!

Nick thank you for the Vid of your wonderful Hotpoint and Zanussi machines, how i love the Hotpoint sounds and now ive heard a Liberator im happy. its exactly the same as my Aquarius which im glad of.

Darren...... NEVER EVER GET RID OF YOUR QUARTZ!!!! if you do you know my email address. Oh how i was reminded of my childhood sat in front of my grandparents 603, and of being at school in Home Ec classes not paying attention to my teacher when the Logic 1200 was on.

Jon i cant acess putfile at the library for some reason and with only getting one hour to do lots when i do actually go i never have time to investigate. but i would love to see the AEG in action (both of them) sorry the 3 of them, forgot "Therma". hope shes ok?! sorry to hear Matts in a bad way.

Washboy2005 your hoover washes and sounds very similar to my Mums old Quattro 1300 which brought back limited memories mainly of me breaking the flimsy parts on it. Not to say yours is flimsy though you know what I mean.
I put the child friendly plastic door cover in when the door release button broke. We had to push the door up when pressing the release button to get the catch out of the latch etc my hand went straight through it.

SamsungFL i also couldnt access yor vids on putfile but when i can see them it would be great. i had a Zanussi before me and Sarah broke up and i know how great they are when you get a reliable one. i used to love the way it click clacked to unlock the door, very like the door release mechanism on a Servis Quartz i think.
