Description is hilarious! Also says he has a washer, but there are no pix and no additional ads:

"Are you equal parts poor and desperate, a masochist, or perhaps a sucker? If so, this is the deal for you. This near ancient piece of technology functions just like it did when Neil Armstrong allegedly landed on the moon. What’s the catch? Well there is none! The mild shocks that are sure to invigorate you like a trip to a 1920s sanitarium are optional with the generous amount of electrical tape on the timing switch.

Keep in mind it comes with a cord, which in some circles can fetch upwards of $8. Equally lovely washer available upon request."

Offer to take it off his hands for free if you need some parts off of it or walk away.

I must be getting old when a 30-year-old appliance (exactly like the one that I took out of service last year), is described as "vintage."

in reality, this is most likely broken beyond repair....and like most who post like this, want someone to haul off their trash, and yet, pay THEM for it...

you will notice too, he boast about the cord could be worth 8.00....that cord can be found at a flea market for 2.00....if it was really worth something, he would pull it off and sell it himself...

just one of those idiots who claims you could get 50 to 100 bucks for this machine if you buy it off him......I dont see anyone lining up for even the 20.00

I can't say theres anything special about this machine....it is from the 80's, a Raytheon built machine to match the Marathon washers...

OMG I have the exact same dryer (and the matching Marathon washer)

I'd love to know if there was an upper version of this dryer, i mean, with a temperature selector separate from the timer.

I have an electronic marathon pair buried in a sea of machines.
