I replaced the leaking/spraying injector assy yesterday. I noticed the machine was leaving a water stain on the floor in back when filling. Was spraying right on the valve assy as well. I couldnt replace the plastic housing I bought that was supposed to be for it because it sat too high and the top pushed against it when I placed it back down and peeeked inside with a flashlight. So I used the old one and slid the new rubber nozzle over the plastic insert then into the fill hose and back onto the plastic housing. i did replace the hose from the housing to the tub though as I figured there would be wear from the tub shaking and chafing the hose where its pressed in. It actually looked good but was worn on top from the top cover so glad I changed it. I did notice however the tub cover where that hose presses in has lost some porcelain and is rotting. Plus my spin basket has some rust at a few of the holes as well. What other models used this large spin basket and metal top cover and how late can I go year wise to find one from a parts donor? I plan on really going through this machine soon to get many more years out of it. Thanks.

Your thinking of my HA806 washer and dryer I just bought last month in harvest gold. Those are resting in my nice warm apartment in the computer room lol. My driver is a white 74 A407 with a zillion miles on it I'm tidying up mechanically. Still have lots to do on it to make it smooth as new. Tub bearing and seal, damper pads, bearings on both sides of the brake assy. I would like to find a clean spin basket and the top splash shield that sets on top of the tub.
