sounds like dry or worn bearings....

Rattling vibrating Noise On A DD washer

Top agitator shaft bearing is slightly worn, you could take the transmission out and grease the top bearing or a more permeant fix would require a new brake and spin tube. 

 

It will probably work for a long time without doing anything if you just want to keep using the washer.
