Just thought I'd put a bit of an update on here. First service call to the machine took place last week where the water level sensor and the drum bearings and outer tub were replaced. Even though the machine isn't a year old as yet, it's 40-50 loads per week lifestyle means that it's done about 6 years worth of washing if not more. Anyway all is well with the machine now and it's done 16 loads since Thursday maintaining its balance and composure. Today I decided I'd take a few bits and pieces out of the machine and give it a thorough clean...I know a few people off here wanted to see the various bits and pieces of the machine so I shall duly post.

We shall start with the pump chamber...

Comments (good or bad) are duly appreciated.

Take Care

Saj

Dispenser drawer recess - very fiddly when you have to attack it with an old toothbrush!

Saj - great pics of your Zanussi. I'm really fond of these machines, still weep whenever I think of mum's 1437! Nice to see that AEG and Zanussi machines are still slightly different - mine has a different detergent drawer assy and the filter is different. Actually comign to think of it the actual compartment where the drawer slides into is identical... wil have to check that out!

Anyway I think Elux deserve big kudos when it comes to your Zanussi. As much as I moan about my AEG washer, it is still a fantastic machine and it really is nice to see Electrolux producing affordable but decent washers at the same price points as Hotpoint. I think Indesit need only take one look at Electrolux to learn a few lessons.

Very nice, Saj. :-) Nice to see you are looking after the machine and keeping it looking good, too.

Jon,

You said, “Anyway I think Elux deserve big kudos when it comes to your Zanussi. To that, I say, "Too right!" :-)
