I moved into a house that was built in 1973. Trying to figure out when my oven was made it works great but the knob has some fading so I’m guessing the temp and would like to repair the knob so it will be more accurate it’s practically perfect!

Give up a pic of the model/serial plate.  Model numbers are coded for the market-introduction year.  Serial numbers are coded for date of production (usually year and month).

Black and chrome with push button (instead of touch pad) digital controls, I'm going say late 80s to early 90s.

If you call an appliance parts store with the model number which is probably somewhere around the oven or broiler opening, you can find out if the dial is still available. If it is not, our member John whose screen name is Combo52 probably will see this and let you know if he has one that he can sell you.

I think reply #2 is right era ~ 1989-93.
