I didn’t realize speed queen made this control from 2012 to 2017 they only have a few differences The timer, the way it fills up inside and the water level switch on the older one offers a wider variety.
I saw this on offer up and couldn’t resist to buy it,boy was that a mistake it had a lot of issues and I still can’t figure out why it’s making so much noise as it washes I thought it needed the 3 brake pads tightened but that’s not the case. as it washes the tub bangs back-and-forth.

can you do a video, or a pic with the front off....

curious if the springs holding the suspension are all in place....an insulation wrap never hurts either...

.
I had a Kenmore top-loader “banging” like in this video.
I noticed some of the wiring near the motor had become disconnected.
The machine worked without the wires being connected, but it banged.
I connected the wires and the banging went away.

Our 2012 started doing this I call 'clicking' at about the 7 year mark.

Seems worse some days. I don't like it but I don't hate it.

I put the belt kit on in 2019. Helped spin pick-up.

I'll live with the clicking unless an easy fix appears. Seems there's a little slop in brake system or???

Worn or loose brake pads. These washers are notorious for chewing up belts and brake pads.change all 3 brake pads.

I have Tightened all three brake pads and The noise is still there. It needed a new belt so I put one on also. Im hoping to get $150 for this washing machine But with this noise going on I’m not so sure that I will get it
