Is anyone else having trouble adding pictures to their posts?

I'm getting a blank "jpg" box and 0% upload progress.  I've copied my text, exited the thread, returned to it and pasted the text, then tried again to upload the picture and got the same result.   Copying and pasting works, but I think uploading is the preferred option.

I'm also finding that some of the pix I've taken with my phone (iPhone XR) in the standard portrait mode instead of holding the phone sideways for landscape are uploading here sideways anyway.
