Saving Water, Detergent, and water heatings costs in the 50s Very true Eddie, Most homemakers were also horrified at how much water, detergent and hot water automatics used compared to wringer washers used the do the weekly laundry already.
This is why when the original WP-KM automatics came out they ALL had the Suds-Saver builtin, it was the odd machine that did not have the Suds-Saver feature.
