Hi everyone, I need a gasket for the part of the drain under the washer the the hose connects to. It is a thin round gasket that fits on the top of the drain where it meets up with section that the drain is connected to. A large clamp holds it on to the top section and the clamp has a hand tight screw that clamps and holds it all together. Thanks for your help, Gary

Hi Gary ~

Don't they make sheets of this stuff whereby you trace the old gasket over the sheet then cut to fit. Failing that, a very very thin bead of marine sealant, or as a last resort, the spray on Flex stuff has worked tiny miracles here for me. I'm sure you can fashion a new gasket yourself; finding a new one, maybe not.

many hardware stores carry rubber/neoprene gaskets of all sorts of sizes and thickness.....

usually ones for bathroom sinks are around the same sizes needed.....

improvise where you can....

I work at O'Reilly Auto Parts, and we sell sheets of gasket material in different thicknesses and composition.
