Neat have not seen one of these in many years.

The late 80s DD washer looks pretty good as well.

That dryer was the match to the Kenmore 70 washer for the household that was in the house next door to us when we moved to the new house September 1961. the family didn't have a dryer, she hung everything out to dry. Have never seen a dryer like this until now. So on one side of us was this washer and on the other side of us was the LK Combo.

This is probably the mate to the washer my grandmother bought in the early summer 1959 when she and my aunt moved across town in Birmingham.  Granny worked at Sears, in Unit Control, and she was a firm believer in her employee discount.  She kept that washer until about 1973 when she bought a new Kenmore washer.

Yes, given washer had lighted dial, the dryer obviously did too.

It was posted as a "FREE - ATTENTION SCRAPPERS!" listing, so hopefully someone jumped fast if they wanted it - otherwise, check the local scrap yard........ :-/
