Nice, but based on my trip through 'Dryer Hell' last year, this dryer will more than likely need a new rear bearing if it's been in continuous use all these years.  The good news is that the bearing for the Filtrator model may still be out there...

Filtrators use a radial bearing that's available from most distributors (common item number - 6005LLBC3/L627, Grainger number 1L046).

I tried to get this dryer several years ago. It's super clean but I no longer really have a need for it. Hopefully it's saved.

Ben

I wonder how long the original matching washer lasted before it was replaced? Too bad both aren't there, that dryer looks like it's in great shape on the outside.

Not sure how long ago the washer was replaced but this dryer could have been bought second hand at a estate sale or something within the past 20 to 30 years or so

I wonder what machine precipitated the $150 allowance. Thank you for the bearing #, Ben. When that bearing started squeaking in my DI56, John had a great fix with no disassembly required: he had me holding the vacuum cleaner with crevice tool at the top of bearing while he drilled into the bearing housing. The vacuum sucked all of the metal filings out of the bearing and when the drilling was over the strong suction was applied to the hole he drilled. Then he dripped turbine oil in while I rotated the drum. I will use your part number to order a bearing for the dryer to have on hand should squeaks ever return. Thank you again.

If anyone here buys the dryer, be sure to ask us or search on the Imperial Forum for how to handle the rehabilitation of the rollers and their bearings under the drum opening.

Thanks to Ben!

Bearing, sealed this time, not just shielded, as Ben pointed out, ordered from Grainger for if there is ever a need to replace the original. I like cheap insurance.

Having the original paperwork says to me it’s probably being sold by the kids or grand kids of original owner. The Maytag washer probably replaced the Frigidaire model is my guess.

I have the exact model as this one only in white. Anybody knowledgeable
about this model know the belt number or availability. It was listed at this site before and I never book marked it to save. Thanks for your assistance. Les

All use the same two belts, just take it to your hardware or auto parts store and get new ones, you can also measure it and buy it on line.

A filtrator dryer in Naples Florida? Do you use it to heat the house in the winter? I only used mine in cold weather up here.
