Beautiful machines!
Yes, Schulthess machines are still made in Switzerland (in Wolfhausen). There are more Swiss brands. Some of their cheaper models are bought from other manufacturers but in general the more expensive models are still made in Switzerland. Huwa: www.huwa.ch... Wyss Mirella: www2.wyss-mirella.ch/opencms/open... Merker (owned these days by Schulthess) www.merker.ch/... V-Zug (pronounced vow tsoog): www.vzug.com/ch/de/... There are several other brands that sell V-Zug appliances under a different name like Sibir and some Novamatics and in the past Girbau. |

Their washers are their own design, judging from programm selection, features and drum their dryers however seem to be based on a BSH design. |
