There is a 1950-1951 WO-65 in Hartford up for grabs, go for it guys and gals. Now how do I put this gently, in the past we have had some busy-bodies email owners of machines like this who are not really interested in the machine, so if you are not interested or not 100% serious about getting this machine please DO NOT email the owner of this machine. CLICK HERE TO GO TO unimatic1140's LINK on Hartford Craigslist |

You're right about the agitator switch. That is THE machine of my infancy and early childhood, the one which Geraldine--Mom--held me up to watch when I was one, two, and three. It has no lid switch and a double rinse with no overflow and it whips through the cycles and it is an absolute ball to see in operation. My dad bought it before I was born and it cost 350 dollars which was a fortune then for working people. Thinking out loud for all to see: not gonna e-mail....someone wants it more than me love to show it to my Mom, sisters and brothers can't find a Fridgi in Bflo to save my soul prefer an overflow rinse can't get away machine that started it all--1st of my life WOULD PAY TO HAVE SOMEONE GET IT FOR ME ANY TAKERS |

For nearly 60 years old, that cabinet is pretty youthful. Here's how the rinsing goes: The fill starts before all of the wash water hasl drained from outer tub Pulsator starts before tub is full the rinse is barely a minute really short spin, lots of water left in outer tub REPEAT, only the second rinse is longer and the DRY fully empties the outer tub. For non-Frigidaire folks: the undrained water pumps out during pulsation. If I have any of this wrong, will someone please enlighten. Remember, i was only three. |
