Certainly not the original paint but it looks like they did a nice job of painting it.  This looks like mid 80s, maybe even 90 but they made these for like 20 years.

Pic two with the bright contrasting white is stunning! At a quick map glance, saw Flushing
and thought New York, I'm on my way. Not.

Always fascinated by the Agi-tub version, but this would do, too.

Paint job was worth more than the machine.

many times these paint shops get new employees, or equipment, and they have to try out and experiment....so they choose appliances....mostly refrigerators/freezers...

some do a basic white or colors....experienced guys will do stripes or flames, into actual art....

my brother works at one of these places....I was getting a number of re-painted Fridges...all they wanted them for was practice...and they give them away after that...

a few fridges were painted and converted into Kegerators...

Paint job was a disaster
The washer itself is a disaster (but fun to play with sometimes, I'm glad I'm lucky to have one)

Nos something I'm intrigued.

1) Lid lock? Did they cut it or there are different versions without the giant hook on the lid?

2) What the hell is that square thing there?

3) Does anybody have a replacement belt?

Mine is in a different position.

9 o'clock.

I noticed the drum lip is a bit different too.
