Boy would I have been pixxed if I hadn't copied the whole thing before trying the suggested 'login'.

Timeout and login would have dumped an extensive, intricate post.  Shouldn't have timed out in the first place; was in the middle of preview/format/preview, made a small change (space bar), hit 'preview' again and got the stopped/login.  Went "back" to capture what I had, then 'preview' from there went to stopped/login again.  Sure, I'm a sucker, I'll login.  It went all the way back to 'create new message'.  Even the category selection was gone.

Don't let this keep you awake Robert.  Knowing it's likely to happen, made allowances.  Otherwise might have shoved my fist through the screen.  For everyone else, it's likely to happen so make allowances.  Screens aren't that expensive but they're glass and can make grisly hamburger out of your knuckles.

Yes, this was a topic of conversation a while back.  It's only weekly that you get logged out, for me it's Thurs. night so easy to log out and log in prior to posting anything of any length.

Yes, I was in on the last go-round and recall it was determined NOT to just hit 'login' without capturing your work up to that point.  Had already pritmuch reached that conclusion, having been bit more than once.

Raising it now as a refresher:  If this happens, don't expect your work to follow you into the 'new login'.  'Back' to the page you were working on and 'copy' what you want to carry forward.

The days and times are not predictable for me.  Like, there's either one more or one less login day than there are days of the week so it's never the same twice.

One thing I learned the hard way early on browsing forums since the 90's was to always highlight, right click, and copy posts before submitting. If something goes haywire, your post is easily resubmitted in a couple of mouse clicks.
