LOL
50s and 60s appliances spread out as far as the eye can see. hmmm "one of our people ?"
It would be cool if it were someone innocent who was just cleaning their basement or their parents basement, wouldn't it. Back in the 70s or 80s you could find a scene like that. Now? Not so much. This post was last edited 05/18/2020 at 20:26 |

That console is sweet! Minus the $100+ shipping. Early 60's LK? Would be all over one like that for my '65 LK washer and it's two missing buttons! Haha. |

Yeah, you couldn't walk into laundry with the thoughts of "I want to do a large load of normal agitation on warm with fast spin and extra rinse" and just select the settings for that like any other washer or dryer.
You would have had to know what all the buttons activated and then do some guess work and hope for the best....... annoying.
But those 60s pastels were awesome. The panel makes for a nice display piece, imo. Put a nice but dim LED light(s) in the console and it would be awesome. I hope those buttons light up too. |
